RMB Payment

*Telegraphic Transfer for USD is not permitted by corporations which operate locally in China. This is in accordance to the regulations set forth by the State Administration of Foreign Exchange (SAFE).

WAB does NOT accept cash payment onsite. RMB cash payment can be made/deposited directly into the school’s RMB bank account at the China CITIC Bank CITIC Building Sub-Branch. USD cash is not acceptable and cannot be deposited into the school’s USD account according to the State Administration of Foreign Exchange.

Please indicate: Student’s Full Name and Invoice Number on the Remittance Advice to facilitate prompt and accurate recording. Kindly fax or email a copy of the remittance advice to Ms. Zhang Jun of WAB at (86-10) 8456 4468 / zhangjun@wab.edu

PLEASE NOTE:

• Payment is due within 15 working days of the Invoice Date.
• Placement of your child/children will be guaranteed upon receipt of full payment of school fees. If no payment is received by the Due Date, placement of your child/children will be released to waitlisted students.
• A 2% per month Late Payment Fee will be assessed on all overdue payments exceeding 60 days.
• Foreign Currency Exchange: School Fees are quoted in RMB , but such Fees may be paid in either RMB or in USD.
  
  • If the payer chooses currency other than RMB , an official Bank of China buying rate at settlement day rounded to
    the nearest decimal place will be applied to the payment.
  • Bank of China exchange rate can be accessed at: http://www.bank-of-china.com/en/static/index.html
• Credit/Debit Card Payments: School Fees can be settled with a domestic credit card/foreign credit card (VISA, Master Card, and American Express only)/debit card. WAB will apply 1% surcharge for domestic and 3% for foreign issued cards. Credit Card payments can be made only in person at WAB Finance Office.

WAB reserves the right to adjust School Fees at its discretion.

Withdrawals and Refunds Policy

For withdrawal of students from school, please notify the Admissions and Development Manager in writing. Refund inquiries should be directed to Manager of Finance and Administration in writing (finance@wab.edu). Withdrawal and Refund Schedule is stated as follows:

Bus fees will be refunded on a monthly pro-rate basis.
P.E. Kits are non-refundable after the first day of school.
All refunds require original WAB receipts (fa piao) and complete payment instructions.
Application fee is not refundable
Capital Levy is not refundable
