WAB Board
The Western Academy of Beijing was founded in 1994 by the Western Academy of Beijing Educational Foundation (WABEF). Operations of the school are supervised by the School Board.
The Board is guided by its Constitution, Philosophy, Mission and Core Values of the school.
The Board is responsible for ensuring short and long term financial sustainability; agreeing the annual budget, developing and adopting comprehensive school policies and procedures; is responsible for hiring the Director; delegating to the Director the responsibility for the education program and administration of the school; and an obligation, on an annual basis, to provide for and encourage community service projects.
