Staff Appreciation Day

Fun Fair Help Needed

Plans for this year’s PTA Fun Fair, Saturday May 19, are under way and we are looking for people who would like to be involved with the planning. No special talents needed! The next meeting will be Tuesday March 13, 9:00am – 10:30am in PTA Place (ES). Room parents will soon be asking for volunteers to help supervise the games on the day so please answer their call for help with an hour of your time. Charity Committee

• The Small Change displays are up on the Atrium wall at ES, the MS wall next to the aquarium and on the Grade 10 notice board at HS. Each picture tells a story of a child who hopes for a better future. There are 100 underprivileged children in China who will be grateful if you can help send them to school! Your small change can make a big difference to someone today! Please contact Beatriz at 13910062236 or Jocelyn at jocelynblinn@yahoo.com for further queries. The appeal ends on April 6.
  
• Taoyuan Migrant School is in need of computers to allow their students to access the Internet. If you have a working computer that you no longer need, please contact liz_durkin@hotmail.com
  
• Prescription Eyeglass Collection (Now through March 23)
  The Charity Committee is now collecting eyeglasses to be redistributed to the needy in Western China. Collection boxes are located outside of Jing Xi (HUB) and PTA Place (ES).
  
• Gently Used Clothing Collection (April)
  Time for a spring clean! Throughout the month of April gently used clothing will be collected for redistribution to the needy. Drop-off locations to be announced closer to the date.

PTA Shops

JingXi Place (HUB) is open Monday to Friday from 11:00am ­ 1:00pm. We stock stationery, mobile accessories, China Mobile phone cards, French and Spanish dictionaries, gift wrap and much more.
