April 13 2007 Parents are invited to share their ideas, talents and enthusiasm for the WAB PTA Fun Fair and help the committee plan for the big event in May. If you’d like to help, please contact Zsuzsa at rozsu@hotmail.com. The Small Change Appeal is over and the committee is busy counting donations. Please look for the grand total in next week’s Lianxi. We still have a few children in need of their school fees. If you would like to support a child’s education for as little as 300 RMB a year, please contact Jocelyn Blinn on jocelynblinn@yahoo.com. The PTA is collecting gently used, clean clothing to be redistributed among the needy in southwest China. Drop off points: ES Foyer, JingXi Place or HS front entrance. Please call Liz Durkin at 8450 7704 for a list of other drop-off points, through April 27. The PTA is also collecting children’s items such as bracelets, hair clips, colored pencils, erasers and canvas pencil bags for orphans in Sichuan Province. Collection boxes are inside PTA Place (ES) and Jingxi Place (HUB).
