“Class of 2007 – Past, Present and Future” The organizing committee has made great progress in planning a fun evening. Ticket sales started this week, and we now need your help to build momentum for the evening. Please consider asking a few friends to join you at the party. Tickets available from the Elementary, Middle and High School reception desks, or contact Maria Barnett at barnetthome@yahoo.com for tickets and/or delivery.
Saturday, September 23
6.30pm – 11.30pm

Dress: Come dressed casually or outrageously in the era of your favorite High School graduating class (1967, 1977, 1987, 1997, 2007, 2017)

Ticket price: RMB350 which includes buffet style dinner and free flow drinks from 6.30pm – 9.30pm; Huhumama jazz band; parent/ staff skit (John is already working on plans to top his performance from last year) and a dance band from 9.00pm onwards. I hope to see you on the 23rd!

We are looking for volunteers to share in the WAB spirit and participate in the entertainment portion of the evening. You can help in the planning phase or by offering to ham it up on stage - speaking or non-speaking. Anyone with a musical talent is also encouraged to participate. PTA Treasurer Urgently Required

Charity Committee: Unwanted Hotel / Airline Toiletry Bags

The PTA Charity Committee will be having a collection of unwanted hotel or airline toiletry bags. These will be given to the charity ‘Rural Women Knowing All’ which supports young women from the poorer, rural areas of China coming to Beijing for job training. Their salaries can then help them to support their entire family. The collection will run from September 11 - October 13. Collection boxes are outside PTA Place in the ES and Jing Xi Place in the HUB. Throughout the school year the PTA Charity Committee organizes fundraising for various charities and the collection and redistribution of clothes and other household goods. Volunteers are always welcome, whether to come along to meetings, make suggestions, help out with activities or run projects.
