Room Parents

Many thanks to those parents who have volunteered to be Room Parents for Home Rooms this year. We are still seeking volunteers for MS classes 6.1, 6.2, 6.5, 7.1, 7.3, 8.1, 8.3, 8.4, 8.5; as well as ES and ECC classes 3C and 5H. Charity Committee

Your excess mooncakes can make other people very happy! Last year, many migrant workers and needy people were delighted to receive mooncakes through the Charity Committee, including one terminally ill man who had not tasted the holiday treat for over ten years! Please share your excess mooncakes by placing them in the collection boxes outside the ES or HUB PTA shops for the Committee to distribute. Do you have any unwanted hotel/airline toiletry bags or extra un-opened toiletries? We are collecting them for the ‘Rural Women Knowing All’ Foundation. This organization offers opportunities for young women from rural or poor areas to receive job training in Beijing. Please help us support them by donating your extra toiletries!

The PTA Charity Committee visited Harmony Foster Home recently and found it to be a happy and caring home but desperately in need of baby equipment, in particular five cots/cribs. If you can help these adorable babies by donating your old baby equipment please contact Liz Durkin (13911468169).

PTA Autumn Secondhand Clothing Drive

The PTA is once again collecting clean, gently used clothes (all ages) to be distributed to grateful recipients in Beijing and western China. Please place your donations in the collection boxes outside the ES or HUB PTA shops starting October 10.
