Thanks to everyone who donated toiletries.

Mooncake
Delivery
Over the National Holiday, a group of
WAB representatives delivered over 50
bags of mooncakes to low-income families
in the Mananli Community (next to WAB),
the Hongqi Migrant School and Dongfang
Old Folks House. The group was comprised
of members of the PTA and China Studies
Department, and Grade 11 student Jian Ai.
Thanks to WAB families who donated!
Two years ago, a similar group delivered
mooncakes to a man who was gravely ill.
His family was investing all their assets
into his medical care, and they were
unable to buy his favorite holiday treat.
They were filled with gratitude when
he received WAB's offerings of mooncakes
from a 5-star hotel. The man died shortly
after the Mid-Autumn Festival, but his
family wrote to express their appreciation
to WAB. |
