EMPLOYMENT: Teachers Application Process

WAB is a dynamic and challenging environment, and has an involved and committed parent community with high expectations of the school and its staff.  Working at WAB is rewarding and inspiring, with colleagues giving generously of their time and energy.

If you feel that you are interested in working at WAB, you are encouraged to pre-screen your "fit" with the school by go through the Candidate Profile and Expectations sections of our website.

WAB also actively participates in recruitment fairs.  Please visit the Recruitment Fairs section for WAB's participation.  Interview appointments with candidates attending the fairs may be by negotiation pre-scheduled ahead of the Fairs.

Dependents

Teachers with non-teaching partners can be considered for employment at WAB. However, employment is offered on a 'single' hire basis. Teachers with dependent children may be considered on the basis of single teacher -one child dependent, teaching couple -two children dependents.

However, teachers with dependent children are generally more difficult to place due to the Board limits on the number of dependent education benefits each year. However, teachers with dependent children are still encouraged to apply.

3.  Application Process

E-mail applications are preferred. Teachers should complete the Teaching Job Application Form and email it to Lng@wab.edu. Applications may be submitted via fax to the HR Fax: + (86-10) 6437 5935.

Receipt of applications will be acknowledged and candidates who do not meet selection criteria will be advised. All other candidates will remain active during the recruitment process until the position has been filled.
