Elementary teacher of Chinese (PYP Programme) (Full time)
The WAB Elementary School has an immediate opening for a teacher of Chinese. The successful candidate should have experience teaching elementary aged children in an international teaching environment. Experience in the teaching of Chinese in a PYP school is an advantage. MYP Chinese Teacher (Part time)
The Middle School is seeking a part-time Chinese Teacher working approximately from 10 Oct to 11 Feb . The successful candidate should have experience in IB MYP Chinese, and be able to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team. Support Staff
Nurse (Full time)
There is a substitute Nurse position needed from mid of September to 19 December 2010. The successful candidate will be working in the Middle School Clinic and should fit the following criteria:
- Registered Nurse (RN) certificate is a requirement
- Pleasant and warm personality
- Experienced and enjoy working with young children
- Experienced in being a school nurse or pediatric a plus
- Possess at least 3 - 5 years of nursing practice
- Strong command of English
- Ability to teamwork and work independently
- Good problem solving skills

Teaching Assistant (Chinese Department)
The High School Chinese Department has a Teacher's Assistant opening commencing in August 2010. The successful candidate should fit the following criteria:
- 2 or 3 years relevant experience
- Excellent Chinese language skills
- Proficient English language skills
- Strong computer skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Pleasant disposition
- Team player and willing to learn
Teaching Assistant (Early Childhood Centre)
The Early Childhood Centre has a Teacher's Assistant opening commencing in August 2010. The successful candidate should fit the following criteria:
- At least 3 years experience in getting along with little kids
- Proficient English language skills
- Patient and caring
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Pleasant disposition
- Team player and willing to learn

Interested in becoming a substitute teacher?
Substitute teachers are engaged on an ad-hoc basis to cover the duties of WAB teachers. They are not permanently employed and are required as and when necessary, e.g. when a teacher is sick or is required to attend a meeting/training. Substitute teachers with prior teaching experience and teaching qualifications are preferred, and only applicants who have a valid Chinese Z Visa will be considered.
