Welcome from Elementary Principal
Attending the WAB Elementary School is a special time in a child’s life. As well as making friends from around the world, students learn that people have different needs, values, cultures and beliefs and to respect these differences. We are confident that students educated in WAB’s international setting will gain the knowledge, skills and understanding to contribute positively to their future communities as children and ultimately as adults.
What We Do - Our Program
Our teaching programs and curriculum at WAB give our students the chance to grow from their discoveries and experiences. Through the implementation of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (IBPYP) student learning takes place in relevant contexts where clear goals and expectations are discussed and negotiates in order to engage and guide them as active participants. Learning through activities and meaningful tasks using and inquiry-based approach requires our students to think about, reflect on, apply, analyze, problem-solve and evaluate. These processes require higher-order thinking and the application of learned concepts to a range of contexts where ultimately the range of skills and knowledge become independently applied.
Who We Are - Our teachers
Our teachers at WAB Make a special contribution to each child’s education and their unique understanding of the world in which they live. Our teachers are hired for their dedication, professionalism and commitment to students. Teachers are constantly striving to improve and provide the best education for all students at WAB.
We hope that the information on the Elementary section of our Website gives you information about our curriculum and programs. Please don’t hesitate to contact a member of our admissions team at anytime if you need more information about our school.
