Giving to WAB

Western Academy of Beijing (WAB) continues to be at the forefront of the international education scene and has enjoyed unparalleled growth and success since it opened its school doors in 1994. WAB's student population has grown to more than 1,550 and our educational and extra-curricular opportunities have exploded, including the delivery of cutting-edge information technology programs and over the past three years, our graduates have been accepted into 6 out of the world's top 10 universities, as ranked by the Times Higher Education Supplement.

Our accomplishments are extraordinary for such a young school.  During the 2009-10 school year, we celebrate our 15th anniversary with a new mission Statement. Now more than ever, our community is poised to have an even bigger impact on the next generation of global leaders.  It is time for our great school to become exceptional.

Each year, parents, faculty and staff as well as alumni and friends of WAB make a difference by making a gift to our school. The WAB community has a strong tradition of giving in order to enhance programs and events.  Examples include the community appeal as part of the 2007-08 Green Generation Campaign,  the design of the Peace Park and upgrades in our libraries.  These gifts, both large and small, support the school’s mission and identity, and provide essential financial resources to assist WAB to ensure the quality of virtually every aspect of school life.  We are proud that gifts come from across the community and this is displayed all across the WAB campus.
