Western Academy of Beijing (WAB) continues to be at the forefront of the international education scene and has enjoyed unparalleled growth and success since it opened its school doors in 1994. WAB's student population has reached nearly 1,500 and our educational and extra-curricular opportunities have exploded, including the delivery of cutting-edge information technology programs to this year's entry into the competitive Asia-Pacific Activities Conference. However, WAB's unique spirit has not changed and it is still an international school with a difference. Through a fusion of its mission, philosophy, values, and the enthusiasm and dedication of its staff, WAB provides a truly international education of preparing young people for the challenges and opportunities of the 21st Century.
WAB's incredible success is due in large part to its steadfast and strong community of alumni, students, parents, faculty, and staff as well as local businesses and multi-national corporations for their ongoing support of WAB's pioneering programs and events throughout the school year. WAB is truly a school with a heart, and you can see proof of this everywhere you turn on campus. Why Donate to WAB
A large majority (more than 95%) of school tuition fees pays for WAB as it is today -- supporting core educational programs, high-caliber teachers and administrators as well as capital maintenance and improvements. WAB is approaching its 15th anniversary. As WAB continues to grow and mature, we are looking for major partners who share our unique "can do" educational vision and want to be part of a dynamic school partnership model that will help WAB to continue to provide and enhance our education and extra-curricular offerings as well as the school's important community outreach programs.
