Grade Ten Matters
Dear Grade 10 Students and Parents,
Our goal this year is to continue to help students explore their
skills, interests and abilities, and to link these with post high
school options. All tenth graders will sit the PSAT on October
18, providing useful feedback for students and parents about academic
performance. The PSAT is a practice SAT used to prepare students
for the SATI reasoning test usually taken in grades 11 and 12. In
semester two we will talk about setting goals and planning for
the final two years of high school, and introduce topics related
to university admissions. We will visit other issues that are relevant
to student life as they arise.
