Grade Eleven Matters
Dear Grade 11 Students and Parents,
Our goal this year is to help students develop more independent
and effective study habits, and to focus on specific interests
and abilities. A significant amount of time will be spent
introducing students to university admissions tests such as the
SAT 1 & 2, ACT, TOEFL and other entrance assessments. In
semester two we will host an information evening for college bound
students to discuss the college search process, entrance requirements,
admissions procedures and other aspects of getting into tertiary
education. We will visit other issues that are relevant to
student life as they arise.
We encourage you to attend as many college presentations and workshops
as you can. They are for your benefit and pertain to topics
we think are relevant and useful.
We welcome your feedback and input, and look forward to working
with parents and students to make this a successful and rewarding
year at WAB. Please drop in or call us if you have any questions
or need our support.
Please contact us if we can be of any assistance.
Regards,
Greg Bishop
