Grade Twelve Matters
Dear Grade 12 Students and Parents,
This is a very important final year of high school for your son
or daughter, and an exciting year for us as we work with WAB’s
first graduating class.
Our goal this year is to help students finalize their post high
school plans and to assist them in applying to tertiary institutions. A
range of relevant personal and career or study-related topics will
be discussed throughout the school year in various forums, including
two weekend retreats scheduled for October. These retreats
will give seniors the opportunity to participate in workshops that
cover a range of topics including independent living, post secondary
plans, and lifestyle choices. We will visit other issues that are
relevant to student life as they arise throughout the year.
We encourage you to attend as many college presentations and workshops
as you can. They are for your benefit and pertain to topics
we think are relevant and useful.
