It is my sincere pleasure and privilege to welcome all new and
returning Middle School students and families to the Western Academy
of Beijing (WAB).
WAB recognizes that the Middle School years are pivotal and abound
with individual potential and opportunity. All WAB Middle School
staff are committed to caring for Middle School students, including
listening to their voices, respecting their concerns, and engaging
them in meaningful educational experiences that will prepare them
for promising futures.
Middle School is designed to meet the developmental needs of young
adolescents and to bridge the transition from Elementary School
to High School. This is done in a variety of ways, including our
International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program, Pastoral Care,
WABX activities as well as Workshops for Parents.
We know that students who join our Middle School will find the
support they need at this exciting time in their lives.
