ES CROSS COUNTRY TEAM LIVES THE OLYMPIC DREAM
Olympic Dreams became a reality at the 2006 Beijing
and Tianjin ISAC Elementary Cross Country Meeting, held
at ISB on Friday November 17. WAB’s Olympic Dream series is having a dramatic impact on students’ sporting ethos as well as their performance, as evidenced by the group’s
success at the meeting. Out of seven participating schools,
WAB claimed a total of six 1st place medals; eight 2nd
place medals; and three 3rd place medals. Last year WAB
only entered 12 children and received no medals. This
year WAB entered 40 students and won 17 medals. What
a difference an Olympic year makes!
