WAB Leads ACAMIS Plans to Promote the Olympic Spirit
WAB has taken a leading role in organizing a model Olympic
games for HS students from local Beijing schools and
international schools across the region, in cooperation
with ACAMIS.
Planned for spring 2008, the ACAMIS model Olympic games
will involve a consortium of international and Chinese
schools working collaboratively to host a weekend-long
celebration of sport, culture and international friendship.
Formal opening and closing ceremonies will provide
further opportunities for all participants to gather
together in the Olympic Spirit and express the Olympic
Dream through the performing and visual arts.
With international and Chinese school participation,
this large-scale event will create a cooperative
setting for students to develop mutual understanding
and a spirit of friendship and fair play.

In early September, WAB will host the Swedish National Women's Soccer Team, who will be in Beijing for the World Championships for women's soccer. l more

Last Saturday, ISB hosted the MSHS Track and Field event. While the number of participants was low, the standard was high with many personal bests and ISAC records achieved. l more |
