WAB and Special Olympics Go Golfing
with 'The Golden Bear'
A group of Grade 9 students and two Special Olympics
athletes putted around the Pine Valley golf course
on Wednesday morning with Jack Nicklaus, the American
golfer who revolutionized the sport, earning the nickname ‘The
Golden Bear.’
Jack conducted a golf clinic for international and Chinese
students while in Beijing for a golf tournament. Many
thanks to City Weekend for inviting WAB to participate!
