MSHS ISAC Track and
Field
Last Saturday, ISB hosted the MSHS Track and Field
event.
While the number of participants was low, the standard
was high with many personal bests and ISAC records
achieved.
The performances of our Elementary WAB athletes exceeded
even WAB’s high expectations at this event.
Well done to all students involved and a special thanks
to Allison Coutts for coaching and supporting the team
througout the year.
Allison Coutts reported on the event:
The ISAC competition drew a close to the WABX Track
and Field activity that began during Season 3.
Many of the students had been consistent in training
over the past months and really showed skill and fitness
development.
Several students surprised only themselves with how
well they did - with many reaching the top three places.
WAB's team was young, as examinations in the High
School had disminished our numbers of older students.
Despite our youth, the two WAB Girls Relay Team won,
and the Boys Relay Team placed seond.
They all exhibited excellent baton changing in exhilarating
races. Well done to all students who participated in
this event. Your training paid off!
