WAB Leadership Program- July 31st - August 5th, 2006
Over the summer, 50 young leaders met at WAB for the first-ever
‘Beijing Leadership Academy’. The group brought together
Middle and High School students from international schools in Beijing
(including WAB), Chinese students from Liaoning and Guang Dong,
and students from Canada!
During the week, students engaged in workshops, games and lively
discussion about global issues including diversity, peace, HIV/AIDS,
the environment, poverty and education and sustainability. A series
of keynote speakers inspired the students to develop their own personal
leadership style and a global perspective on world issues.
