Miao Tribe Visit- August 30, 2006
As part of the Grade 3 unit on symbolism, a group of Miao people
visited WAB last week. The Miao are one of China's 56 ethnic groups
and live in many of the southern provinces of China.
The Miao people are particular famous for their costumes and intricate
silver jewelry. Some of these can be seen hanging on the walls of
the Miao Conference Room in WAB's Elementary School.
