Laptop Distribution- September 2, 2006
Over 200 new laptops were distributed to Middle and High School
students last Saturday as part of WAB’s laptop grant program, with
more than $40,000 in grants being awarded to support student laptop
ownership in MS and HS. This year with all High School students
being required to own a laptop, there are more than 600 student
owned laptops at WAB.
Following distribution, parents and students participated in a
series of workshops and tutorials, covering some of the most popular
features of the laptops such as Mac and Windows basics, i-tunes,
Garage Band and Power School.
