STAND UP AGAINST POVERTY- October 16, 2006

On Monday October 16, a total of 571 Middle School and High School students joined global citizens around the world tos tand up against world poverty and stand up for peace. This symbolic action was made in recognition and support of the UN Millennium Development Goals, which include a global call for the eradication of extreme poverty. All WAB participants were include in a worldwide cound submitted as a Guiness World Record for the most people to simultaneously stand up poverty within 24 hours.
