A group of 27 HS students were fortunate to
attend a dance workshop presented by dancers from the Henri Oguike Dance
Company in the UK.
The company tours extensively for five months of the year and delivers
comprehensive education projects. Students were taught a number
of contemporary modern warm-ups and a revised sequence from their
choreography “Tiger,” which the company performed later that
week at Tianqiao Theater.
Students enjoyed a challenging and fun two-hour workshop with four
of the company’s dancers.
