The HS Arts dept took all 10th and 11th
grade art students to The National Art Museum for a special
Guggenheim Museum exhibition. The National Museum of China presents ‘Art
in America: Three Hundred Years of Innovation,’ which is the
first survey of American art to be presented in China.
Artists represented include: Winslow Homer; Mary Cassatt; Frederick
Remington; Georgia O’Keeffe; Grant Wood; Norman Rockwell; Jackson
Pollock; Willem de Kooning; Mark Rothko; Keith Haring; and Kara Walker,
among many others. |
