SPORTS FEST 2007
WAB is very proud to have been
designated an "Olympic Model School" as we approach
the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.
As such, we have committed the
sharing the Olympic ideal of "One
World, One Dream". Across
the school, we are arranging "Olympic
Dream Series" activities,
of which our new-look "Middle
School Sportsfest" is
one of the MS highlights.
MIDDLE SCHOOL SPIRIT WEEK -
6 March 2007
February 5th to 9th was Middle School Student Council Spirit
Week. Many dress up events were held throughout the week
with the grande finale Disco on Friday night. The Middle
School Student Council worked together to plan, organize
and celebrate each event. Each Middle School homeroom was
surveyed for their favorite choices for dress-up days. A
Spirit Week committee was formed to organize the days, the
lunchtime competitions and the prizes. It was a great week
with many students and teachers participating in the daily
events.
MS PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES ON FEBRUARY 6 & 7 -
2 February 2007
Below is the information outlining upcoming Parent Teacher
Conferences on February 6 & 7 Location: HUB Gymnasium MS Conference Times: 3:30 p.m. – 5:45 p.m. Other Details: Drinks and Snacks Provided in the Link Conference Style: Drop-In, No previous appointments
needed,10 mins each.
Middle School Conferences will begin at 3:30 p.m. in the
HUB Gym. MS students will have regular dismissal time
and regular 3:30 busses departing WAB. There will be no
MS ASA’s
operating on February 6 or February 7. MS students are
welcome to remain at school if they will be attending
conferences with their parents, otherwise they should
go home on the 3:30 bus as usual. Parents can attend any
time between 3:30 – 5:45 pm on February 6 and 7.
