Charity Committee Meetings:
Our next Charity Committee meeting will be held on Thursday 3 April at 13.30 h in the Miao Room in the Elementary School. All are very welcome to attend.

Upcoming Collection Drive:
Clothing Drive
From 7 to 18 April we will be collected gently used and clean babies', children's and adult clothing. The clothing will be passed on to orphanages, homes and schools throughout China.Collection boxes will be placed in the ES school by the main entrance, in the HUB by the JingXi Place and in teh HS by teh main entrance.
Please note that we cannot accept underwear or swim wear.
'Pretty Things' Collection
Throughout the month of April we will be collecting pretty inexpensive items of jewellery (plastic necklaces, brightly coloured bracelets, etc) and hair ornaments and ribbons for the orphans and abandoned girls in Jo Charles' boarding home. It is a joy to see how much these little items can do for the girls' confidence.
A collection box will be located in the ES outside the PTA Place.

• Collection of toiletries and toiletry bags (September)
• Collection and distribution of mooncakes (September)
• Collection of warm children's clothes (October and April)
• Collection of warm small adult clothes (sometime in the year if we have enough manpower)
• Collection of sweets (post Hallowe'en)
• PTA Charity Bazaar (24 November)
• Sale of 'Angels' at Bazaar (24 November)
• Collection of Postage Stamps (January)
• Collection of Spectacles (February)
• Small Change Appeal (18 February – 14 March)
• Collection of Unwanted School Stationery (June, last week of term)
Please note that other projects may come up depending on perceived needs in the community.
