ASA
A range of After School Activities (ASA’s) are offered for
students Grade 1 – 5, 3 days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday)
during 3 sessions throughout the year.

Students have the opportunity to choose from as many as 75 different
activities falling within the main categories of sports, arts, ICT,
dance, Chinese cultural activities and home languages (*note - Choir
is a full year commitment). Choir, Drama Productions for Grade 2/3
and 4/5 and Instrumental Music commence prior to the start of the
ASA program.

Lunchtime Sports
The lunchtime Sports Program has proved extremely popular with children.
The program runs every lunchtime usually in 10 week phases targeting
sports in the lead up to inter school events.

Interschool Sports (ISAC)
Elementary children have the opportunity to participate in a series
of inter school tournaments. Tournaments range in numbers of schools
attending from 4 to 14. Tournaments for year 2006/2007 include soccer,
cross-country, table tennis, handball, track and field and swimming.
All events have a coaching lead up period usually conducted as part
of the Lunchtime Sports Program. Some of the ISAC teams will be
children who have qualified for the team, others will be open to
all interested athletes.

WAB Aquatics
WAB Tiger Sharks Competition Swim Club train each afternoon and
compete in local and regional competitions throughout the year.
Also, learn to swim and recreational swim programs are available.
WAB Quatics commences in week 2. See separate brochure.
Tennis
Tennis is offered in the second half of the school year. Dates to
be advised.
Special Events
WAB Biathlon/Triathlon – (September 23) a morning of cycling,
swimming and running for the whole family.
Instrumental Music Program
After school instrumental music instruction is available individually
or small groups for beginners, intermediate and advanced levels
each afternoon. This program requires year-long commitment by students.
Instrumental Music commences prior to the start of the ASA Program.

WAB - ES Home Languages
After school, home language maintenance activity programs are provided
in French, German, Korean, Spanish and Swedish.
Danish and Dutch are offered as courses (an additional fee applies).
Finish and Malaysian and are offered on weekends.
Transportation
Most activities finish at 4:20 and at 4:30 pm. WABX Bus is provided
for students participating in WABX-ES Activities. There is also
a limited 5:30 pm WABX Bus Service.
