Four ASA blocks are offered during the year, corresponding with the sport seasons.

WABX Interschool Sports - WAB Tigers
Middle School (MS) and High School (HS) participate in sports leagues in the following sports – Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, Tennis, Badminton, Swimming, Track and Field, Cross Country.
MS participate in the ISAC League (Beijing and Tianjin).
HS fields JV and Varsity teams participating in the ISAC League, ACAMIS League (Pan China) and the China Cup (China and Hong Kong).
Students train 2 – 3 times per week and play games both at school and away.

WAB Aquatics
WAB Tiger Sharks Competition Swim Club train each afternoon and compete in local and regional competitions throughout the year. Also, learn to swim and recreational swim programs are available.
Tennis
Tennis is offered in 2 after school seasons in Fall and Spring on Tuesday and Thursday (MS) and Monday and Wednesday (HS).
Adrenalin Fitness Center
WAB’s Fitness Center is open Monday through Thursday 3:30 – 5:30 pm and Saturday morning for those students interested in weight or circuit training.
Instrumental Music Program
Band, Ensemble, Classical Chinese and Rock Band
After school instrumental music instruction is available individually or small groups for beginners, intermediate and advanced each afternoon.

Choir
WAB offers after school choir in MS and HS. This is a full year commitment. Students are expected to perform at a number of activities at WAB and in the community throughout the year.
Theater & Drama
Each year, the MS and HS stage productions. Students are expected to attend all rehearsals, usually several per week including weekends during the production period.
ACAMIS Cultural Communities
Each year, ACAMIS sponsor a MS and HS Cultural Convention with students from as many as 10 international schools across China coming together for a weekend of activities showcasing the Arts (Art, Music, Drama, Dance)
Dance
The MS and HS Dance groups explore a wide range of dance styles and practice throughout the year and perform at school, community and regional events.
WABX Clubs and Enterprises
Year-long, community based and interest group clubs are offered during lunch times and after school. These include MUN (Model United Nations), Roots & Shoots, Global Issues Group (GIG), Habitat for Humanity, Library, Photography.
The Enterprise Program provides students to be involved in ‘work related’ activities such as computer technicians, TV presenters, Website Development, newspaper and yearbook, light and sound circuits, community center management, food services.
Home Language Clubs
Language Clubs held after school include: Korean, Finnish, Malay, German and Swedish.

Personal Development Courses
A number of weekend training courses are offered throughout the year including Red Cross Baby Sitting Course, Super TTechs, Cooking, Personal Development, ‘Applying for a Job’, Writing your CV.
WAB Wild Activities Program
* Vertex Climbing Wall - @ WAB is offered as part of the curriculum and extra curricular program.
* ‘Miao Liang’ Outdoor Education Center in the Miyun Mountains (2 hours north of Beijing) – provides weekend adventures including kayaking, trekking, climbing, camping
* Ski Program – Weekend skiing at the Nan Shan Ski Slopes
WABX Social Events
The HUB, Sports, Arts and Technology Center also serves as a Student Community Center and is open on Friday evenings and Saturdays.
The Friday Night Lites program includes regular sports events, dances and movies whilst the special events program includes ‘WAB Idol’ and ‘WAB Rocks’.
The HUB sports and recreation facilities are open for students’ casual use and bookings on Saturdays. The Link Café is open on Friday evenings and all day Saturday.
WABX Vacations and Study Trips
Vacation trips offered this year will include to Vietnam (History), Canada (Ski), Thailand (Scuba).
