By Students for Students: Inkblot Launches Summer 2020 Issue

"After finishing the last day of ordinary life on January 23, we embarked on this wild journey of online learning, face masks, and grand uncertainty. Seven months later, we're finally returning to physical school."

This was the message TianTian Xu, the Editor in Chief of WAB's student-run publication Inkblot, wrote to her classmates in the launch of the club's Summer 2020 edition.

The latest issue focuses on stories from quarantine experiences WAB students faced: completing tasks from hotel rooms around the globe, tuning into class from a grandparent's living room, or determining how to proceed when university move-in day get postponed.

Tian Tian, who took over as the club's leader this school year, said she realized a need among her classmates to connect through their individual -- and often isolated -- experiences. That's what motivated her to jump-start Inkblot this summer.

"We're all a little lost and want to know what's going on with the rest of the community and what was happening with our friends," Tian Tian said. "I always say, 'A bad experience makes for a great story.' And we're all looking for great stories and connection in these wild times.

TianTian and the team at Inkblot are excited to share these stories with the community, and they invite you to follow their official WeChat account: Inkblot WAB. Each issue will be published through the WeChat account, so make sure to scan or long-press the QR code, and follow them to hear/share the latest stories from WAB students.
