WABX to the MAX was yet again a highlight event for 650 students from Western Academy of Beijing and 15 visiting campuses.

Jazz musicians and dancers kicked off the weekend-long festival, performing on Friday morning. They worked on mastering their talents in small, focused workshops and took the stage Saturday night for a show-stopping finale.

In sports, all teams showed exceptional levels of sportsmanship while running, swinging and tackling their opponents in pursuit of WABX to the MAX championships. Congratulations to all of the student athletes for the dedication they exhibited throughout the tournaments. WAB teams finished well with the following results:

• TigerSharks Swimming Trials: 78% of swimmers recorded personal bests
• Field of Dreams Baseball Tournament: 3rd place
• Tiger Classic 5km Girls Cross-Country: 3rd place
• Tiger Classic 5km Boys Cross-Country: 2nd, 3rd places
• Beijing Challenge Boys Volleyball Tournament: 4th place
• Beijing Challenge Division 1 Girls Volleyball Tournament: 3rd place
• Beijing Challenge Division 2 Girls Volleyball Tournament: 4th place
