Elementary Students Exhibit and Explore at Beijing Design Week

Western Academy of Beijing and Swiss School Beijing students created art as part of an exhibit at the annual Beijing Design Week in the city's bustling 798 Art District.

The students had a chance to create their dream city through visual arts, then traveled to the gallery to see their art as part of a larger installation that included the work of more than 260 children. It was a great chance for the kids to demonstrate their learning outside of the classroom in an international event that stretched far beyond the school community.

While at the art festival, students and teachers also had the chance to explore the dozens of exhibits and galleries, where they had a chance to connect with professional artists and learn how art impacts the world.
