Western Academy of Beijing (北京京西学校) has once again been recognized for its elite status as one of China’s top international schools. 

WAB ranks second on the list of all international schools in the Chinese mainland, according to the first-ever list released by Forbes China in collaboration with Bank of China. You can find the complete list and an article with full details (in Chinese) here.

The organizations evaluated many elements of the school, including the strength and size of the teaching faculty, university matriculation, core characteristics, financial strength, and the reputation of the school among overseas university admissions officers. 

“Over the past few years, WAB has been recognized multiple times as a leading school, both in holistic categories and in special areas such as educational innovation," WAB Head of School Marta Medved Krajnovic said. "This type of recognition makes us happy, because it re-affirms the work we are focused on doing. It gives strength to our global voice as a school that is continuously trying to improve student learning and well-being, empower students to be responsible global citizens, and design for their own and our collective future.”
