WAB Students Get Creative at Kids Design Week

Designs created to inspire young artists: That's what's on display at the International Kids Design Festival in Beijing's 751 D Park.

Elementary School students from Western Academy of Beijing got a sneak peak at the innovative technology and designs on display. Forty Grade 5 students took a field trip to the park on Wednesday, and 50 WAB parents and students got exclusive access in the evening to be inspired by some of the most creative work in the field.

Sponsored by WAB, the Australian Embassy China and Crossboundaries Architects, the event is designed to present innovative technology and design, encouraging learning and interaction between children and their parents.

The event is part of the annual Beijing Design Week festival, which brings together work from the top designers from China and around the world.

International Kids Design Week will run from September 29 to October 6, from 10am-6pm. If you're looking for fun, educational and exciting things to do over the holiday week, this is the place for you.
