FLoW21 in Action: Target 1 - WAB'S Culture is Learning-Focused
featured image

FLoW21 in Action is a new series of blog posts to support our FLoW21 Explained series. Here we will share real-world examples of how FLoW21 is already working and share how you can be involved.

Our teachers are not just experts in the subject they teach, are continually improving their understanding of how we learn. To support their development in this area, our education teams use resources like Coursera, an education-focused website offering free online classes from universities such as Stanford, Yale and The University of London. Academic texts like The Cambridge Handbook of the Learning Sciences is also a valuable resource.

As our educators improve their understanding of your child's individual learning needs the school can adjust its institutional structures and teaching methods to serve them accordingly. This individually tailored approach helps improve each child's overall education experience.

You, as parents, can also take a more active role in supporting your child's learning. We invite you to join "How We Learn," an online course that will provide you with tools and resources to understand your child's strengths and challenges and help foster their learning.

Continue your learning journey and take the course at your own pace by clicking here.

As we look forward to the Future of Learning at WAB, your role in creating this culture for your children is an important complement to their education.
