The Learning Scaffolds Committee has narrowed its focus to five main directives, which will guide the group's work and support FLoW21 Targets.
These include:
- Create individualized learning plans for every student
- Clarify the way we use and interact with technological systems in school
- Clarify entry/exit criteria for programs that serve students with specialized needs
- Consolidate and increase awareness of current assessment tools to identify students' needs and create personalized learning plans
- Research the potential value/cost of employing a school-wide educational psychologist
Recognizing that one goal associated with FLoW21 is to conduct a whole-school audit, the committee began identifying relevant information to be included, such as the students' experience transitioning between school sections and early intervention for students with specialized learning needs.
